- Apply online at gov.uk. Complete the application at gov.uk/apply-uk-visa (not third-party sites). The Standard Visitor fee is £135 for up to 6 months; longer-validity visitor visas cost more.
- Pay the Immigration Health Surcharge if applicable. Required for any visa over 6 months, currently £1,035/year for most adults, paid online before booking biometrics.
- Take the TB test if your visa is over 6 months. For family, work, and study routes, test at a Home Office-approved clinic in Harare first. The certificate is valid 6 months; you cannot complete a long-stay application without it.
- Book biometrics at VFS Global Harare. Attend VFS Global in Harare for fingerprints and a photo. Bring your appointment confirmation and original supporting documents.
