- Confirm you need a C-3 visa (no K-ETA / e-visa). As a Vietnamese passport holder you must apply for a C-3 short-term visa. Ignore third-party sites claiming to sell you one.
- Prepare your documents. Assemble your passport, application form and photo, proof of funds with a stable history, proof of employment or business or study, a travel itinerary and accommodation, and an invitation plus host documents if visiting family. Make sure everything is consistent.
