- Take the TB test if your visa is over 6 months. For Student, Skilled Worker, and Family routes, test at a Home Office-approved clinic in Ghana first. The certificate is valid 6 months; you cannot complete a long-stay application without it.
- Book biometrics at VFS Global Accra. Attend VFS Global in Accra for fingerprints and a photo. Bring your appointment confirmation and your original supporting documents.
- Submit documents, then collect your eVisa. Upload or hand in your documents. Common errors: name mismatch between passport and bank statement, undated employment letter, or a statement older than 28 days. Standard processing is about 15 working days; once approved, link your UKVI account, there is no physical visa or BRP.
